How easy is it to Advertise on Planology?

Once you have your ads in the correct size configurations, it takes only minutes from submittal to approval and going live on Planology. 

Under Targeted Advertising in your supplier back end, just select the type of ad you want to create and follow the simple steps.

What are the advertisement specs?

All ads must be .jpg images with their resolution optimized for the internet. Photoshop, Pixelmator for Mac, and other image apps for Windows machines make resizing and formatting images into the best resolution easy, especially if a firm is already assisting you with various graphics and ads elsewhere.

Home Page Slider Ad Size:  

756 pixels wide x 500 pixels high.

Side Column Ad Size: 

Side column ads are 300 p/w x 250 p/h.

You can, however, upload side column ads of any height up to 1,000 pixels or the height of 5 side ads. Ads are billed in increments of 250 pixels in height.

Example: a 300 p/w x 325 p/h ad will be charged as two ads because you exceeded the single ad height of 250 pixels. So you could make this a 300 p/w x 500 p/h ad for the same price.

Search Result Slider Ad Size:

1,250 pixels wide x 580 pixels in height.

Planology Reviews all Ads and Ad change submittals

All submitted ads (including ad changes) undergo an approval process. This ensures that ads are visually appealing and do not contain offensive, political, pornographic, social activist, or illegal content.

The company reserves the exclusive authority to decide whether to display or not display any advertisement based on its discretion. You must have ownership of your artwork or written permission from the owner to post someone else's artwork.

Approved ads are uploaded promptly, seven days a week, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm HST. Late submissions may occasionally appear on the following business day.

Can I refresh my ads when I want?

Absolutely! You can swap and refresh your ads of the same size at your convenience. This applies to the ad URL and any alt text as well. It's a great way to keep your content looking fresh and engaging!

Will my ads always appear in the same spot?

All side ads are cycled to the top of the right-side column every 2 minutes for equal visibility. Home Page and Search Results Page Slider Ads are displayed randomly for 4 seconds each, ensuring everyone enjoys the same prominent visibility and no one is consistently placed last or at the bottom.

Purchasing and Billing

Ad costs are billed annually, and ad subscriptions automatically renew for another year unless canceled by the supplier or if there's a change in your credit card approval process.

Please note that ads can be removed upon request, but no refunds for the purchased ad period will be issued. Remember that you also have the option to make changes to your ads instead of removing them.

How do I create and upload different ads?

To upload your desired ad, start by creating the ad following the specified size guidelines. Ensure your ad is in a .jpg or .png format and optimized for faster web viewing with a suitable lower file size in kilobytes (kb).

Next, access your supplier backend and navigate to "Targeted Advertising." Click on the "Create" function for the type of ad you wish to upload, and follow the provided instructions. It's a straightforward process, making getting your advertisement up and running easy.
