What are the advertisement specs?

All ads must be .jpg or .png images with their resolution optimized for the internet. Numerous Mac (Photoshop and Pixelmator) and other image apps for Windows make resizing and formatting images into the best resolution easy. If a firm is already assisting you with various graphics and ads elsewhere, all the better.

Home Page Slider Ad Size:  

720 pixels wide x 480 pixels high.

Side Column Ad Size: 

Single Side column ads are 300 p/w x 250 p/h.

You can, however, upload side column ads of any height up to 1,250 pixels, which would be the height of 5 side ads. Combined Side-Column Ads are billed in increments of 250 pixels in height.

Example: a 300 px wide x 325 px high ad will be charged as two ads because you exceeded the single ad height of 250 pixels. So you could make this a 300 p/w x 500 p/h ad for the same price, etc.

Search Result Slider Ad Size:

1,250 pixels wide x 580 pixels high. These are our largest ads, positioned at the top of the screen and visible at the peak of the customer’s search results experience.

Planology Reviews all Ads and Ad change submittals

All submitted ads (including ad changes) undergo an approval process. This ensures that ads are visually appealing and do not contain offensive, political, pornographic, social activist, or illegal content.

The company reserves the exclusive authority to decide whether to display any advertisement, in its discretion. You must have ownership of your artwork or written permission from the owner to post someone else's artwork.

Approved ads are uploaded promptly, seven days a week, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm HST. Late submissions may occasionally appear on the following business day.

Can I refresh my ads when I want?

Absolutely! You can swap and refresh your ads of the same size at your convenience. This applies to the ad URL and any alt text. It's a great way to keep your content looking fresh and engaging!

Will my ads always appear in the same spot?

All right-side column ads are cycled to the top of the ad column every 2 minutes for equal visibility. Home Page and Search Results Page Slider Ads are displayed randomly for 4 seconds each, ensuring everyone enjoys the same prominent visibility. No one is ever positioned last or at the bottom.

Purchasing and Billing

Ad costs are billed annually, and ad subscriptions automatically renew for another year unless canceled by the supplier or if there's a change in your credit card approval process.

Just so you know, ads can be removed upon request, but no refunds will be issued for the purchased ad period. Remember that you can also make changes and refresh your ads instead of removing them.

How do I create and upload different ads?

To upload your desired ad, start by creating it following the specified size guidelines. Make sure your ad is in .jpg or .png format and optimized for faster web viewing, with a suitable file size in kilobytes (kb).
